Do you know someone who lives in the Mermaid Beach electorate who: • In the area of Sport, Community, Business or Arts is worthy of recognition for excellence in their field? • Is an inspirational role model to our local community? • Has accomplished outstanding personal, academic or professional achievements? • Has made a significant contribution to the local community through volunteer work?

We have many wonderful achievers in our local community and I need your help to find them! I’d love to hear from you with stories of these individuals so I can crown our 2023 ‘Mighty Mermaid Local Legend’.

If your nominee is awarded as this years ‘Mighty Mermaid Local Legend,’ yourself and your ‘Mighty Mate’ will win The Ultimate Bluesfest Experience – 2 x 3 Day passes to Bluesfest.

Eligibility Criteria: • Nominees must live in the Mermaid Beach electorate (Mermaid Beach, Mermaid Waters, Robina, Miami, Nobby Beach, North Burleigh or Varsity) for entry to be valid. You can check the State Map here: https://results.ecq.qld.gov.au/state_district_maps/ • Self nominations will not be accepted • Nominees must be at least 18 years of age • Bluesfest 2023 dates – 7th 9th April 2023 (Fri, Sat, Sun) • Entries close on the 20th of March and winners will be announced the following day.
